Student Support Services-Disability

Student Support Services-Disability Program (SSS-Disability)  is a federally funded program through the U.S. Department of Education.  SSS-Disability assists students with disabilities with securing financial aid, providing career and academic counseling, providing tutoring services, and providing other services to assist students toward graduation.  The goal of SSS-Disability is to increase the college retention and graduation rates of its participants and facilitate the process of transition from one level of higher education to the next.  ***This program is seperate and different from ODS.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled at UL Lafayette
  • Must have a documented disability
  • A percentage of students must have a financial need
